Within this field of working, i have gained experience to work with a few patients with different type of illnesses. I've worked with patients who suffers from dementia, strokes, bipolar, etc. With these experiences, it has taught me how to show empathy, how to look for signs and symptoms that is shown by patients, to know exactly what sign and symptom is for which illness and how to deal with these kinds of illnesses. I've also learned how to handle patient in ways that makes them feel comfortable and to give them that feeling of being safe.The healthcare field is that which you learn something new every day and so I've learn from patient and other co-workers. It is also my duty to acknowledge and respect their rights as a patient.
